Dentsu World Services becomes an ‘initiative partner’ to support Nirmitee, a women’s empowerment program by RISO.
Dentsu World Services (DWS) joined hands with Rostrum India Social Organization (RISO); a Pune-based non-profit organization to support Nirmitee, a women’s empowerment program.
The ‘Nirmitee’ program supports unemployed women from rural areas of Pune due to unemployment and lack of skill set. This women’s empowerment program aims to assist unemployed women by offering vocational training for income generation and help lead a self-sufficient life.
Upholding our commitment to being a force for good’ and driving positive ‘social impact’ in our community, a group of DWS’ social impact volunteers visited the RISO centre on February 19th, 2021 where we made a humble donation to procure 10 sewing machines. Our contribution will enable 450+ beneficiaries to pursue vocational training for income generation and help them lead a self-sufficient life.
Our active volunteers & contributors like Minakshi Muradnar, Manisha Minde, Tushar Purandare, Tanaya Bagade, Bijoya Mukherjee, Shweta Topkar, Divya Sudan and Jagdish Yadav interacted with the trainers and beneficiaries on-site to understand their needs and aspirations.
“Your visit and open-interaction at the RISO centre has sparked new hope for women beneficiaries especially now when we are trying our best to free ourselves from the crutches of the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to continued support from dentsu” Vaibhav Mogarekar, Founder and Director, RISO.
The dentsu team is delighted to be an ‘initiative partner’ for ‘Nirmitee’ by and contributing our bit to encourage and empower 400+ less-privileged women to upskill and be self-reliant in this financial year. Our volunteers will monitor the impact of this program and extend the necessary support to fulfil our promise to deliver meaningful progress.
